Omni King Edward Hotel
Do you like staycations? I love staycations cos sometimes you need to get away but don’t have the energy for a full blown trip..
❤️ There are many nice hotels in Toronto, I especially like those with club floors, nice pools or beautiful views. I love the close-up full view of the CN Tower @RitzCarlton, tranquility of @ICTorontoYorkville, stylish roof-top bar @ThompsonToronto & new year firework view of @SheratonCentreToronto..
❤️ This time at @OmniKingEdward, I especially like their club floor room with free access to their Royal Club Lounge. Where all-you-can-drink alcoholic beverages & hors d’oeuvres are served between 5-7pm.
❤️ Built in 1903, the Omni King Edward was Toronto’s first luxury hotel and a $40 million renovation was completed in 2015. It is now modern & stylish while maintaining its historic beauty. I love the neutural color & nice fragrance in the lobby. Also adore the bright red in their rooms & the comfy bed, perfect for a romantic staycation.
❤️ Apart from all-you-can-drink alcoholic beverages between 5-7pm, the Royal Club Lounge also offers buffet breakfast in the morning. I was quite happy with the variety of food offered. Egg omelette burrito wrap, bacon & bangers, fried potatoes, cold cut & cheese, oatmeal, fresh fruits, pastries, pancakes, bread & bagels. Four different kinds of fruit juice and coffee & tea. Food was refilled often, attendants & chefs were pleasant & friendly. It was a great experience.
❤️ I would love to visit their $6.5 million newly restored Crystal Ballroom as it looks like a dream from the photos. And I didn’t get the chance to try Victoria’s restaurant, but will definitely go back for their high tea. . 📍 37 King Street East (Yonge/King), Toronto
